ecard INFORMATION

Certification Information

All course certifications are issued digitally via eCard. Upon successful completion of the course, your certification will be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) and made available to you through the AHA eCard system.

You will receive an email invitation with instructions on how to claim your eCard. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.

Important:
Each student is personally responsible for claiming their own certification through the AHA system. Neither your employer nor the staff at Heart CPR can claim the eCard on your behalf. Until the eCard is claimed by the student, it cannot be printed, downloaded, or shared by anyone else.

Claim eCard via TEXT:

View your eCard by texting “eCard” to the number 51736.

 Claim your eCard via Email:

  1. You will receive an email with a link inviting you to claim your eCard online. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox. The link will take you to the Student Profile webpage. Confirm that all information listed (First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number if claiming by SMS, eCard Code, AHA Instructor Name, and Training Center) is correct. If any information is incorrect, please contact us.

  2. Create your security question and answer, accept the terms of the site, and click Submit.

  3. Complete the survey for the course you just completed. Your feedback helps the American Heart Association improve the quality of future training.

  4. After completing the survey, your eCard will be displayed. You may save or print your eCard for your records.

  5. Once your eCard has been successfully claimed, you will receive a confirmation email. Please save this email for your records.

  6. Claiming your eCard is the only way to verify proof of course completion for your employer. If you need to email your eCard, please follow the instructions under “How to View Your Claimed eCard.”

How to View your Claimed eCard:

  1. Visit the AHA eCards Search page:
    https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards

On the Student tab, enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address (this must be the same email used when you registered for the course). Click Search.
Note: You do not need to enter your eCard Code.

  1. Answer your security question when prompted.

  2. If the information entered is correct, you will be taken to the “My eCards” page where your certification will appear. If your eCard cannot be located, please contact us so we can verify your information.
